Sold Out

Learn from current Division I collegiate volleyball coaches! Our next 7 Week Season Starts Monday, April 7th in Orland Park!

Open to girls and boys in grades 5-8. On the registration form, fill out which program fits your athlete best:

Level 1: Foundations is our introductory volleyball program suitable for those with less experience. Players in these sessions will be new to volleyball or have a baseline understanding of skills but are unable to execute consistently. Foundations curriculum includes:

  • Attacking: proper footwork, finding rhythm in your approach, proper armswing mechanics

  • Serving: standing overhand float serve, making solid contact, proper footwork, generating torque/power to serve consistently over the net

  • Passing: proper posture and form, shoulders forward, simple clean movements

  • Setting: hand positioning and proper release

Each session will have fun, engaging new drills and competitive game play, and will help our athletes build confidence. **Note: the first week will be evaluative in nature. If adjustments need to be made, coaches will recommend moving athletes up/down according to fit.

Level 2: Intermediate/Advanced is our program for players that have the ability to execute basic skills on a consistent basis (serving a ball consistently over the net, passing consistently to target, sustaining play over multiple rallies across the net, etc.) Players in this program will have played multiple years on their school team and/or have club experience. Intermediate/Advanced skill curriculum includes:

  • Attacking: attacking out of system (in challenging situations), backrow attacking, generating explosiveness, secondary shots (tips, rolls, etc)

  • Serving: serving to targets, jump float, introduction to jump top-spin

  • Passing: Tracking the ball, passing outside of the body

  • Setting: setting from the body’s midline, setting from off the net, generating more power and accuracy

Each session will have fun, engaging new drills and competitive play, and will help our athletes elevate their game. ***Note: the first week will be evaluative in nature. If adjustments need to be made, coaches will recommend moving athletes up/down according to fit.
